OUR PERFORMANCES & DANCE NEWS

We have been performing at public and at private events since 2008.

​

Bookings are taken throughout the year and up to 18 months in advance of an event.

​

We do make a charge for our dance services.  These are based on:

* Type of Event: Public, Private, etc

* Performance Requirements: Talk & Demonstration, Performance, Learning a Choreography for a party etc

* Costume Changes Requirements or Themed costuming

* Distance to travel

* Provision of additional items such as own sound equipment, competition for audience participation with a prize

PERFORMANCE AND DANCE EXAMPLES...

WI Group - 10 to 15 minute talk, 20 minute dance demonstration and then audience interactive (seated or standing)

Special Birthday - Learn some basic belly dance moves and a fun choreography

Wedding - Introducing the married couple, dance performance and then get the guests up to dance

Village Fete - Dance Performance of 20 to 30 minutes with audience participation with or without a prize winning game at the end

Hen Party - 2 hour dance workshop with dance basics and learn a short dance choreography with a 'dressing up box' for use for the 'big performance' at the end

Once we have discussed your needs, a booking form will be provided to confirm all the details as discussed.

For new events and private events, we will request a deposit to secure your booking (20% to 50% deposit to secure the booking (depending on the type of event), this is more important for events that take place from May to September.

For our performances, we showcase dances in different styles with different props to give you the best possible dance experience from Mystic Bellydance.  We bring with us a wealth of dance knowledge and experience and are happy to pose for photographs with guests after our performance or answer belly dance related questions, or are happy to talk about the history and traditions of belly dancing too.

We are competitively priced with our dance fees and keep in line with other dance professionals and entertainers in our region.  We wear dance troupe costumes, have a variety of dance props and will be professional in our performance and conduct.  Our performances are family friendly. If your event has a theme or colour scheme we will try to dress to match.

We appreciate that some events don't always have sound equipment, so if you are a group or organisation using a village or community hall, we can bring along our own sound equipment at no additional cost to you.  Equally, if we need to 'dress' the stage area prior to our performance, please discuss this, and though we will make a small charge, we can supply some decorative items for use, and will remove these once our performance has ended.
